Saturday Revò Live

I had the pleasure, yesterday in Revò, to get on stage and talk about what I think it’s important a just-turned-18 keeps in mind, a bit about ethics and a bit about myself as a political cartoonist

And I have to say I feel a bit better about the future, now! Apart from the fact that these dudes don’t smell and don’t look like a homeless scarecrow – like I did at their age – they also got some self confidence and were able to cope with a number of questions I posed them, giving some really interesting answers.

Well, what I can say to sum it up is that they have no idea what ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ is – finally we’re starting to forget Donna Summer! – that they think ‘Crystal Ball’ “was” a thing – sad face – and most importantly they, for example, think there’s not enough engagement among younsters. Some read newspapers, some online, some in paper. One of them told me that immigration will bring more people to meet – definitely a good attitude.

Then there was a guy that was unbelievably happy with everything! Lucky him! And another that told me for his 18th birthday he didn’t get drunk. I don’t believe you, man. I don’t believe you! Actually I didn’t either 😉
