Bio – DelRosso Studio

I am an Italian-Dutch brand and communication specialist, digital marketer, editorial cartoonist and illustrator.

I studied modern and contemporary Italian and world literature in Milan and Trento, before graduating in Journalism at the University of Groningen.

At the moment I am Communications Coordinator for the European Cultural Foundation and Director of the European Cartoon Award, one of the most prestigious prizes for political cartoons.

As campaign specialist

I have been working on several design projects since the beginning of my career, and I now offer my knowledge on brand and graphic design to companies that need a do-over or want to strengthen their visual and conceptual image.

I also teach companies how to tell their story right, and to the right public, at the right time, in the right… you got the idea! Among my clients: European Press Prize, TicketSwap, Inner Circle, Coalition Clean Baltic.

As a trainer

I have been working with RNTC – Radio Netherlands Training Center for the past four years, giving trainings to cohorts of international professionals on topics such as campaign development, PR strategies, fundraising strategies, social media managing, brand design and more.

I priviledge giving trainings for socially-centred organisations, but I won’t say no to other types of companies, if the spirit is right and we’re not trying to sell guns, pharmaceutical products or fossil fuels.

As a speaker, moderator and host

I work at the intersection of journalism, satire, and public dialogue. With years of experience collaborating with international media, cultural institutions, and academic partners, I try to bring a sharp, engaging, and accessible approach to complex topics.

I am interested in the role of visual storytelling and humour in shaping public debate. When I host an event, I try to spark thoughtful, dynamic conversations—balancing critical insight with a light, human touch. In short, I am awkward and lanky, but it seems to always work well for the public. We always have fun!

As an editorial cartoonist

I publish my illustrations in several magazines and newspapers around the world. Among them: Washington Post, Japan Times, Le Monde, Courrier International, Alternative Economiques, the Swiss daily Le Temps, the Dutch daily Het Financieele Dagblad, the environmental magazine Renewable Matters, and more.

In September 2018 I won the second prize in the political cartoons contest ‘Libex 2018’. In the same month, I also won the Italian ‘Strike‘ contest for young talents. In September 2019, I won the second prize of the Dutch Inktspotprijs.

Since October 2020, I have been a member of the French editorial cartoonists’ association Cartooning for Peace.
